11.

Now imagine yourself to be a "Master:"

A soul who fell asleep,
lived in the earth,
and awakened.

And imagine yourself to be a "Savior:"

A soul who fell asleep,
lived in the earth,
awakened,
and then returned AWAKE,
LIVING IN HEAVEN,
to help others awaken, too.

12.

And as a Master,
as a Savior,
imagine yourself walking among the earth's sleeping people
gracefully sharing your perfect love,
perfect joy,
and perfect peace.

And hear yourself humbly telling them
they can find the Heaven you have found
if they will but seek it as you have.

13.

And imagine some of the people
see your perfect love,
perfect joy,
and perfect peace
and believe you are someone "special:"

An angel or something,
given the gift of perfection from the beginning;

a gift which they,
as lowly mortals,
cannot hope to receive.

And imagine some of the people
hear you talk of Heaven
and believe you are crazy, or stupid, or childish.

And imagine you are shunned
and your talk of Heaven disbelieved.

14.

And imagine the people that shun and doubt you
have not yet lived thousands and thousands,
millions of years in the earth,
and have not yet sought and found
enough treasures
(and watched them spoil, ruin, and waste away)
to grow tired of suffering,
as you did.

And imagine yourself to understand,
even though you are not understood.

15.

And see yourself in their midst
speaking little of Heaven and of dreams.

See yourself in their midst
a humble servant,
a loving brother,
a thoughtful friend,
an unsuspected king of unimagined wealth
selflessly sharing himself,
and his riches,
whenever,
wherever,
however he can--

without letting anyone know
who and what he truly is.

16.

Now imagine some of the people
see your perfect love,
perfect joy,
and perfect peace
and believe you are a Master:

Someone special
only in that you have awakened
and they have not.

17.

And imagine these "few"
accept, believe, and follow you
because they have lived thousands and thousands,
millions of years in the earth,
seeking and finding treasures
that spoiled, ruined, and wasted away.

And imagine yourself to understand,
because you have done the same.

18.

And see yourself in their midst
speaking often of Heaven and of dreams.

See yourself in their midst
a humble servant,
a loving brother,
a thoughtful friend,
a wise and gentle king of unimagined wealth
selflessly sharing all that he is
and has
without wearing any masks
or playing any games.

And as a servant,
a brother,
a friend--

as a king who has conquered himself
and knows how to help others do the same--

hear yourself reminding them
of the place called Heaven,
saying,
"Heaven is where you really are
and you are only DREAMING
you are somewhere else."

Reassuring them,
"If you will but realize you are dreaming
and seek to awaken,
one day you will,
and Heaven will again be yours,
and suffering and sorrow will be no more."
