- Our Second Community-Wide Y2K Meeting was held on 10/3/1998. The space we acquired for our first event could only hold 100 people. More than 214 people showed up for that first event. We had anticipated that more people might come than we could accommodate, so we printed up rain checks and invited those who couldn't attend the first meeting to return the following week for a followup. This followup event was not advertised to the general public.
