About The Sedona Y2K Task Force

The Sedona Y2K Task Force has been created to inform the community of Sedona (and surrounding vicinities) about Y2K and help residents effectively respond to whatever disruptions Y2K may create in our community.

Working with a growing number of grassroots movements all over the United States, we hold regular Y2K information meetings, help local residents, businesses and neighborhoods prepare for potential Y2K-related disruptions, assist the city of Sedona to be sure their critical infrastructures (power, water, emergency services, etc.) operate effectively through Y2K trigger dates, and maintain a local Y2K resource center.

Exploration Team Facilitators:

Our local Y2K Exploration Teams have three goals:

1. To gather information concerning the infrastructures we all depend on;

2. To make specific recommendations as to how individuals, and our community as a whole, can strengthen our local infrastructures and/or prepare ourselves for potential disruptions to these services;

3. To help impliment whatever suggestions they offer.

The folks listed below are the facilitators of our Exploration Teams. These are the folks to contact if you want to join an Exploration Team and/or find out what they are doing.
